Information about out of date cartridges: Some cartridge manufacturers put a sell by date on their packaging. However, the ink inside the cartridge does not expire and will remain liquid for many years. If the cartridge doesn’t perform perfectly first time we recommend you remove it from the printer, wrap paper towel around the print head (the print head is the gold foil part at the bottom of the cartridge) and shake it hard in a downward motion with the print head facing the ground. Then wipe the print head with a piece of paper towel and reinsert the cartridge into the printer.
